Black Storm sought to develop new branding for their upcoming collaboration event. They envisioned a complete brand identity, including a bespoke logo and 12 unique beers can design.
My role in this project was focused on logo development and packaging design for the beer cans. During our initial discussion, the owner outlined their objectives and aspirations for the project. I carefully noted key phrases they highlighted, such as “collaboration,” to ensure the designs aligned with their vision.
I began by crafting initial concepts for the logo and the can designs. For the logo, I created a design that symbolises the celebratory clinking and splashing of glasses. For the beer can designs, I ensured a strong connection between the brand name and the visual representation of the drinks, blending creativity with brand consistency.
My primary goal was to ensure the new branding resonated with Black Storm’s existing identity, reinforcing and promoting its established brand while adding a fresh and exciting touch to the collaboration event.
The outcome was a cohesive and visually striking branding package that captured the essence of Black Storm and its collaborative vision.
